Announcing the C3 Lab

We’re thrilled to announce that Dr. Daniel Pittman and Dr. Ranjidha Rajan have officially launched the Community-Centered Computing Lab (C3 Lab) in MSU Denver’s Department of Computer Sciences.

The C3 Lab’s mission is simple: design and build technology that empowers communities. The lab focuses on human-centered computing, applied AI, and accessible data systems that make a real difference for the people and organizations served.

Active projects in the lab include the NSF-funded Colorado Sustainability Hub, the SIPA-funded RILE Connect STEM platform, the student-built Roadrunner Connect campus engagement app, and the Peer Support Hub — all building production software that serves Colorado communities while giving students hands-on research and engineering experience.
